Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a lance on his belt. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This younger middle-aged man dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His beige fur is thinning but still full. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: This man stands a little under 4'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His hair is black and very short. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thoradin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Thoradin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his left hand. His chestnut hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Ur-Edin was born the youngest of three triplets. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he is greedy

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He wears his black hair up. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Healer profession.

History: He was born in the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Healer again; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
