Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born in the north to a Sellsword, Katherine learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She became a Sellsword soon after.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Shava was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shava's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
