One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and balancing her hectic life and new bellfounder responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Duergath's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Duergath hails from a village terrorized by giants. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tana grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Gnome Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
