History: Balifra lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Balifra was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balifra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Shipwright, and she later adopted a second daughter.
