History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a Painter soon after.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Carrie was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carrie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Gynnie's homeland. Gynnie decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
