History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Crown-heir kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Kaladan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kaladan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to end his boredom
