Merihim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tawar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tawar. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
