Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, tan shirt, and grey tie. His hair is long and red with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born to a Mayor, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She has wavy purple hair. Her eyes are likewise silver. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Shax hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
