Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Vicky was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Nalaed hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. She takes great joy in being the best Gardener in town.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Beggar. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he has a crush on the local beggar

Description: This malnourished man wears just a green suit. He has no hair. His eyes are silver and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ekemon grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. She's also a talented Barber, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Barber again.
