She worked as a Sellsword, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Jacoba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her childhood dream was to be a Mortician, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Being a Roofer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother
