History: He was born in the north. Ernest was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miller. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This woman wears a black shirt with thin green vertical stripes and violet pants, and sports empty pouches on her belt. She wears a top hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are white.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fonkin embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fonkin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Fonkin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her chestnut hair is braided into rings. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she is content

Personality: Eva hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Assassin. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends
