History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kallista grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kallista. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Sariel liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Sariel was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Emerald was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
