History: Pyntle hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Pyntle was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
