History: Born to a Laborer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Apothecary, her father struggled to pay the bills. She married young, but lost her spouse to dire rats. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Through the years after Symma was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Symma's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.
