Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Callie is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Callie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. The war was a terrible time for him, and Immeral does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
