History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Shamash never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Cloak was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and many orcs want her driven away

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: An older woman who dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a black coat with white slacks, she is not a threatening figure. She has no hair. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Vanchu was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Tanglar was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Masseuse. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he wants revenge against brigands
