History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She struck the Locksmith job and began her own company from there.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has moderate length blonde hair. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his top blue hat.

Personality: Umpen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to work out more often

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears blue trousers with white and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat and is in decent physical shape. Her red hair is knotted and matted. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Maynild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
