Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Cockaby was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cockaby's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with green lining and desert motifs, and is pretty ugly. She has done her best to style her copper crest to look like a famous performer. Her ears are large.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently the stress of being a Laborer has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a white coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon her head. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Ootah was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and to settle down with her crush

Description: An older woman who wears silk and lounges about seductively, she is not a threatening figure. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are yellow and catlike.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull white iron scale mail. She has a long brown ponytail with little hanging trinkets. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
