History: He was born into a rich family. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Korfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Rivaan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and balancing his hectic life and new bricklayer responsibilities is difficult

Her white eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Hecat was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
