Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.
