Personality: He is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Dain was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Dain and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: Volen was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over.
