Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Shautha was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age her mother died while driving off some giants. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in lance use. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on his belt. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This light-skinned male is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is knotted and matted. He has amber eyes and a red hat with a blue feather.
Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Fisher who has hired him part-time. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Ar-Karo was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ar-Karo's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Description: An older man who wears a fancy grey suit, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Eberk will drive conversation. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Eberk was born with his father's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Armorer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
