History: Akmen was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has worked as a Dyer like her mother before her.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
