History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Thorpe speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.
