When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a Marshal, his father struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bathin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bathin. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
