History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His fierce red eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Balam speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Balam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: He dresses well, wearing tan shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He carries with him a set of longswords on his belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
