Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She prefers to wear yellow clothing when she does not wear armor. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. Her black fur is still thick. Her yellow eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Shadow's homeland. Shadow decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and carries greatswords. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ur-Lasu fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
