History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Anakis has worked very hard to control her curse. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A freak accident while working with her Shepherd mother left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
