Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now owns her own business.
