Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Malquis was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull violet iron scale mail. His tied-back hair is auburn. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Thorin wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Thorin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Thorin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Thorin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Dagger lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Farmer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Spy, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and an old rival family wants her found
