History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Smoking was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nija does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Ulfgar was born with his father's beautiful face. Ulfgar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he desires power and/or immortality
