History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Gerard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Boddynock was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dara. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
