History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriax. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Ranala reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Bimpnottin abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
