He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has achieved small success as a Marshal.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

History: Adrie lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Adrie and her spouse have recently divorced.
