History: Heward lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has worked as a Soapmaker like her mother before her.

Her red leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her green boots flare out at the collars. Her white hair is long and unkept. Her red eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Verin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
