History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her first spouse was a Mortician, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Umpen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Umpen was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mayor born in the past three hundred years. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mayor business.

History: Born in the north to a Mayor, Leaf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mayor for the past few years.
