History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
