Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Lilith hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to prove her worth to the world
