History: Târz lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ploughman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and to unite with his brother

Personality: Brottor is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of a Dyer, who enjoyed hunting, Brottor was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
