She found a children's book about a Gnome Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Mara lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Mara was a troubled youth. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
