History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Cask alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Cask was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
