When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Jeweler but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Kipper was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Jeweler. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and retire the richest man in the east

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and wants his loneliness to end
