History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Ella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a Sage soon after.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sculptor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: Standing 4'3", this woman prefers to wear flannel. Her golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Her eyes are amber and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Gunnloda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the south to a Baker, Gunnloda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Baker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Akra was born the youngest of three triplets. Akra was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
