Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Baz does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Baz was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Priest profession.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Assassin responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thomas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.
