Description: She is a pot bellied western woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Valanthe was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Valanthe and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Navigator. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult.
