Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Melissa is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She struck the Merchant job and began her own company from there.

History: Born in the west to a Servant, Faral learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Faral took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his father struggled to pay the bills. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
