History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. When Veloptima reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the west to a Banker, Eberdeb learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Banker.

Personality: Alain hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Alain hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.
