History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears dark leathers with embroidery and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is silver and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Through the years after Matilda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Matilda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Performer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born in the east. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and wants to open a new tavern
