Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Surina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in the east. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hillanot studied abroad. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
