Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Ulla was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Keyleth was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
